 2008 OVSC Summit
May 30 – June 1st at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Columbus.
The Columbus Ski Club is pleased to invite you to the Ohio Valley Ski Council Summit.
Please join us for the Ohio Valley’s largest ski trade show and club conference. The OVSC represents over 4,500 skiers/riders from seventeen ski clubs in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. Registration for the three-day Summit is $45.
All throughout the weekend don your Hawaiian gear – HuKeLau It’s Island Time in Columbus! So be prepared to come and have a relaxing time on our beach away from the beach. There will be three days of social, sporting and sight-seeing activities combined with an outstanding ski and travel industry trade show, special destination presentations, door-prizes and club member and officer break-out sessions . . . Something for everyone!
We will be having a Silent Auction during the Saturday evening Summit Luau. Proceeds will benefit TAASC (The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition). A non-profit organization to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities by providing sports and recreational activities, and to offer opportunities for empowerment through education, leadership, and training in collaboration with community-based organizations.
Friday will include the Golf Outing during the day as well as the Welcome Party in the evening.
Saturday morning there will be a bike trip and a Wine Tasting at Spagios.
The Summit’s outstanding ski industry and travel trade show will be held on Saturday afternoon in the Crowne Plaza Ballroom. We will have a special guest speaker for a special Saturday Summit session. A reception, dinner, Silent Auction and dance will round out the evenings scheduled events. Music will be provided by a DJ.
Sunday will feature a sumptuous breakfast buffet, destination presentations, breakout sessions for officers and members and an OVSC Board meeting.
There will be drawings throughout the weekend for door prizes. Remember, you can’t win if you aren’t there!!
And don’t forget, HuKeLau It’s Island Time in Columbus!
