About OVSC

The Ohio Valley Ski Council (OVSC) is your gateway to thrilling winter sports adventures and year-round global travel, uniting ski and winter sports enthusiasts across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. Representing a network of member clubs throughout this region, OVSC brings together like-minded individuals who share a passion for snow skiing, snowboarding, and exploring new destinations.

As part of the National Ski Council Federal (NSCF), OVSC connects our member clubs with the latest in winter sports—from the top ski resorts and cutting-edge equipment to expert tour operators and essential travel information. Our council includes a dedicated team of executive officers, trip and race directors, and representatives from each of our member clubs, all working together to offer skiing and racing opportunities.

Each year, OVSC organizes a series of unforgettable trips that are open to all members of our affiliated clubs. These include North American ski adventures, an international trip that blends skiing with cultural exploration, and additional non-ski travel experiences. On top of that, each of our member clubs curate its own lineup of exhilarating ski trips, sports activities, and social events, ensuring there’s always something exciting on the horizon.

One of the highlights of the year is our annual OVSC Summit, held in late spring. This event is a wonderful opportunity for all our clubs to come together, learn about the latest in skiing and snowboarding, connect with equipment and snow sports destination experts, and enjoy the unique charm of the Summit’s location. It’s also a chance to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
