2024 |
In Breckenridge, CO we skied the Rockies' powdery slopes and enjoyed the charming Victorian-era town with its lively après-ski scene.
Next, we hit Heavenly Valley in Lake Tahoe, CA, with its spectacular lake and mountain views. Highlights included skiing across state lines and riding the Heavenly Gondola, though we cut the trip short by a day to to escape the oncoming blizzard of 2023.
March took us to France for skiing and touring in Morzine & Nice, France. In Morzine, we savored French mountain cuisine and alpine charm, with non-skiers exploring Annecy, Chamonix, and Evian. Evenings were filled with complimentary dinners and unlimited wine. Nice offered a sunny contrast with Mediterranean strolls and exploring colorful markets.
In May, we enjoyed a serene Seine River cruise on the beautiful Scenic Gem river boat. Starting in Paris, we cruised to Normandy to visit this historical site on the 80th anniversary of the WWII landing at Normandy. Aboard ship we indulged in first class, all inclusive accommodations with delightful cuisine and unlimited beverages, making for a relaxing, culturally rich experience.

2023
Our North American ski trips this year included exhilarating visits to Snow Basin and Powder Mountain in Ogden, UT, followed by a return to the stunning slopes of Crested Butte, Colorado. 2022
|
This year we've roared back to pre-pandemic travel. First up, Beavercreek, Colorado for our January trip. Banff, Alberta, Canada was our February destination. A beautiful location but we had some bitterly cold nights. Didn't stop our skiers from enjoying the sunny days on the mountain. In March we departed for Andorra for skiing and sightseeing. Andorra is one of the smallest countries; wedged between France and Spain. It's a favorite shopping destination for Europeans due to tax friendly retail. Most people went on to the post-trip in Portugal. In October we headed to Egypt & Jordan! Even though it was hot and sometimes demanding, it was the trip of a live time. We snorkeled the Red Sea and floated in the Dead Sea. What an adventure. From the bitter cold of Banff to the sweltering sands of Egypt it's been quite a year. We'll close out the year with a New Year's Eve trip to Patagonia (Argentina). |

2021
|
We had just one ski trip in 2021 due to the uncertain travel conditions following the year of Covid. Travel was still touch and go but our skiers enjoyed the snowy hills of Telluride, Colorado. In the fall, we switched gears with a group trip to New England and Cape Cod, enjoying a non-ski tour and vibrant autumn foliage.

2020
|
We managed to get in a couple of trips before 2020 travel came to a halt. In January we ventured to Red Mountain, British Columbia followed by Zermatt, Utah in February. In March, our group enjoyed the slopes of Crans Montana, Switzerland with a planned post trip to Germany. Unfortunately, we had to cut our time in Germany short as borders began closing. Everyone made it home safely, and we secured refunds for the Germany post-trip attendees.
